Established in 1954 and elevated to a postgraduate department in 1993, the Department of Mathematics has been a beacon of academic and research distinction.Acknowledged as a University of Rajasthan research center, it boasts modern infrastructure, including an extensive book collection and a cutting-edge computer laboratory with 100 Mbps network connectivity. Its faculty comprises a dedicated team of highly qualified experts, each specializing in diverse fields such as Fractional Calculus, Analysis, Operation Research, Special Function, Differential Equations, Fluid Dynamics, and Relativity. Beyond their commitment to student support, faculty members remain actively engaged in ongoing research endeavors, ensuring they remain at the forefront of their respective disciplines. Continuously immersed in research and abreast of the latest advancements, they strive to prepare students for careers in advanced Mathematics through guidance for competitive exams like JAM/NET /GATE and tailored remedial classes. DBT STAR SCHEME

DBT has selected S. S. Jain Subodh P.G College under the DBT Star Scheme to strengthen the academic and physical infrastructure for enhancing research, teaching, product-oriented projects, networking with neighboring institutes. This Scheme acts as a gateway and acts as a catalyst in igniting young minds towards research.

FIST SCHEME

The Scheme “Fund for Improvement of S &T Infrastructure (FIST)” is intended to provide basic infrastructure and enabling facilities for promoting R&D activities in new and emerging areas and attracting fresh talents in institutions and millennium initiative of DST for promoting research in STEM. S.S. Jain Subodh P.G. College has been selected among the 16 colleges of India by Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India for the grant.The current emphasis on the immensely successful FIST programme is for orienting it towards the goal of Atmanirbhar Bharat by providing accessibility of the R&D infrastructure facilities.
