Department of Psychology was established in the year 2015 to offer an undergraduate course in B.A./B.Sc. Psychology with a vision to be a leader in the cutting-edge professional skill development and teaching psychology. Since its inception, the department has been successful in providing worthy exposure to its students, not only through regular curriculum but also by meeting the aspirations of social world. The department continuously strives to give its students a chance to understand and investigate their own self and their areas of interest. The department has excellent infrastructural support for carrying out quality research as it has an equipped Psychology Laboratory. As an indicator of consistent growth, the department has initiated post-graduation program with specialization in Clinical Psychology and Counseling, creating expert professionals who can function as independent professionals.
